sonoSens® Monitor is a diagnostical system for dynamic monitoring of body posture. With the data you can create a motion-profile of the patient without restricting him.

The technology on which Friendly Sensors is based, consists of an ultrasound-distance measuring process where small sensors placed on the skin continually record changes in the distance between them. The process is versatile in its applications and enables the measurement of such parameters as breathing, movement, posture and energy consumption: all with a single technology. The measuring principle was developed approximately five years ago and has since been scientifically tested in numerous applications, i.e. in space research and industrial medicine.

Friendly Sensors controls this internationally patented technology through a long-term exclusive license. The activities of the R & D Department have led the company to apply for further patents holding considerable potential for the future development of its business. These include a new generation of sensors for various applications, i.e. in intelligent clothing or in vehicle seats.
